We got you boo. We've designed our Melbourne ASSFEST to be a choose your own adventure, a space of infinite possibility unique to you. You can go deep (hehe) or you can just pop in for an afternoon and learn some cool tricks.
ASSFEST is a celebration of sex positive culture, a convergence of educators, performers
and representatives of the various Erotic Arts coming together to share knowledge, with each other and with you.
It's an immersion into intersections of consent, relating, intimacy, embodiment, kink and sacred sexuality.
We welcome diversity in our approach and forms held within a shared container
of rigorous ethics and personal accountability.
You'll meet other curious explorers & experienced guides, learn new skills,
& have a weird & wild adventure that just might crack open your heart & soul.

This is a gorgeous venue - a gin distillery who also specialise in non alcoholic cocktails and have delicious snacks!
This is NOT a play party - this is a chance to meet everyone in a chill environment before the big weekend.
There will be performances and probably a cheesy speech!

Last year's Temple of ASS was phenomenal and we're still blown away. We've got some pretty big plans for this year's Temple... it's still hush hush but you can expect expert facilitators, inspiring performances, strong consent and support systems and more than a dash of magic...
We've been wanting to do an Australian School of Sexuality Erotic Art Festival since our inception SO WHY NOT DO IT ALL AT ONCE? Erotic films are a particularly political and contested territory. Our founders and some past facilitators have created erotic films, and it's part of our organisational ethos to bring different parts of the sexuality industries together into the same space. We're gonna share some of the very best international erotic art as well as some local gems. We'll have a couple of performances and a panel of industry professionals to share their perspectives. There's SO MUCH MORE to share about this but let's enjoy the anticipation together for a moment longer...
OPENING & CLOSING CEREMONIES
You are welcome to join us for an opening circle at 9.30am on Saturday the 17th,
and for a closing circle at 5.30pm on Sunday the 18th.

WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THIS?
There's a whole complicated history and philosophy of erotic labour, but let's boil it down: our educators have amazing experience and skills. Sex is something people don't want to invest in, because it's 'natural' and 'obvious'. But actually it's deeply complex, physically and emotionally. Sex is an art, and you too can become an artist.

Your ticket price ensures that our facilitators are paid fairly for their expertise, in an industry that is often undervalued.
